Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
- Research of new suppliers, evaluation of the suppliers
- Receiving and control of the Material/Purchasing requirement. Preparation of the inquiries and request of proposals to the potential suppliers. Analysis of the offers and comparison in terms of prices, quality offer, time of delivery, general conditions of supply.
- Follow and evaluation of the performances of the suppliers in terms of prices, delivery, conformity of the products with the orders, quality of the products.
- Processing Information Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
- Getting Information observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Communicating with Persons outside Organization Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to suppliers and other external sources.
Qualifications
- Sex Male or Female 25 years old up
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Industrial engineering, Electrical or related field.
- Salary: n/a
- Location: The Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong)
- Able to work at Rayong area
- Working Day: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 pm (Alternative Saturday off)
- Experience: At least 2 years in purchasing commercial, consumable, raw material of steel manufacturing company
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for purchasing processes: request of proposals, evaluation of suppliers, issue of orders and contracts.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Character- strong and authoritative character required.
- Good command in English
- Good command in computer skill (MS Office , E-mail)
